Internet Self-Assessment Checklist

Teachers planning to take the Teaching and Learning with Web Resources, Teaching and Learning with Kaleidoscope, WebQuests or Learning Web Page Design with Microsoft FrontPage should have the following skills to be successful in these courses.

Prerequisite Skills:

	Understand telecommunications terminology, such as browser, search engine, etc.
	Launch web browser, such as Internet Explorer
	Scroll through a web page document
	Click links on a web page
	Use back, forward, home and refresh buttons
	Enter a URL manually into the web browser
	Recognize various types of search engines
	Perform basic internet keyword searches
	Download documents
	Copy and paste text from browser to word processor
	Copy and paste graphics from browser to word processor
	Print web page from browser
