After the Activating Strategies (students should be in the computer lab): 1. Open the "European_Countries" database file. 2. Make sure the database is in List View. 3. Have students decide whether to use sort (rearrange the records), or filter (search multiple criteria) option to answer the questions. Students should then answer the question. (Teacher can refer to Microsoft Works for Windows Database Instructions for specific directions on sorting and filtering.) 4. If students complete the questions, have them come up with their own questions using database information. These questions can be used for additional practice. 5. After students complete the assignment, exit the database without saving. 6. Turn in the activity sheet to the teacher. |
