How to Download a File
Using a Windows Computer

  1. Click on the file you wish to download.

  2. Office files (Word, Excel, or Access) will open the file automatically. Choose Save As from the File menu to save the open file to your computer.

    For most other files, a save window will appear.  Chose the option to Save the file to disk. Click OK.



  3. Check the Save In line to see where the file will be saved.  If it is not in the correct place, click the triangle and browse to find the correct disk location.



  4. Click Save and the file will be downloaded and saved.

 

*****I f the file opens incorrectly or will not allow you to save, click the BACK button and do the following:
 

  1. Right-click on the hyperlink to the file.
     

  2. Choose: Save target as from the popup menu.
    This should take you to the save file dialog box.

 

Click the browser's BACK  button to return to the lesson plan.
